The Japanese original Sasuke was brilliantly cheaply made. Couldnt get into the American remake Ninja Warrior.

I love Ninja Warrior! Though, I would like a UK Takeshi's Castle.

Not so much Ninja Warrior but Total Wipeout v2.

It looks twice as difficult as Total Wipeout...

While I appreciate that the episodes of Ninja Warrior shown on Challenge are probably edited for timing reasons, I think the same needs to apply to Ninja Warrior UK.

Also a lot of emphasis is put on the need for speed, so to speak, on the original Sasuke programme as they have really tight time limits for everything, which doesn't appear to be applying here (or if there is a time limit I haven't heard it) so I think it's not really in the spirit of Sasuke to take the first obstacle at the speed of a snail...

Oh well that's OK then.

It's Total Wipeout without all the charm and self knowing nonsense that it going away with.

Chris Kamara is far more entertaining on Soccer Saturday.

The "live" element is completely lost on that fact that it's so tightly edited.

So the viewers can win £65k in prizes but do the winners of the show (if any make the top of the mountain) get anything?

Kudos, most probably.

The tight editing keeps a good pace. Contestant, contestant, contestant.
