How long has Nightscreen actually been going?
The next chance i get I'll set the video for the start!

According to the thread, the earliest it started was 1998 although I doubt it was any earlier than that and as for specifiically recording Nightscreen.... may I ask why?!?

Only the start! If there's something i want to tape that's on early i either set the video or get up early to tape it [if it's past 7!]

I think Yorkshire is the only region to still have a Jobfinder service, Central still had theirs until a few years ago

BTW,Has anyone got any caps of the 2002/3 look?

I don't know why they've relaunched Nightscreen now.It fits in to the 2002 ITV1 more and ITV1is dropping the yellow and blue aswell.

Nightscreen music pops up on Art Attack sometimes btw!

Would you really want to employ someone who sat up at 3am watching teletext pages?

The only thing thats changed is the phone number (or at least until not long ago)! I'll have a look later.

There was a call for people to take part in a second series recently, so I guess it's probably coming back later this year.

Incidentally, a good thing about nighttime TV: clean idents on Channel 4! (though on the downside there's also the rubbish "4 Music" ones...)

Do Channel 4 still show the 1999 idents during the night?

Umm... well not since the new look came in on New Year's Eve. And what is so exciting about Nightscreen? It really is just information and [cheesy] musak.
