Yes but BBC News 24 can only get a very small potential audience, nowhere near the 80 million Sky gets.
And anyway, how many Sky presenters would want to work on News 24 !! lol

I seem to remember that Skky's Mark White was sacked as main reporter from Grampian's North tonight because he laugher with his co presenter over a serious story.

Kay Burley is cool - I love the way she throws her hair back and smiles cheesily into the camera before starting Live at Five. She is very professional usually

I know that among News 24 fans in this forum Joanna Gosling is worshipped, for some reason.
But did they know she was a mere reporter at Sky before she left to actually present on News 24.
So that means a report on Sky is of presenting standard on News 24

And, err, that can only be a good thing, right?!

That should have read reporter, not report.
And for Sky that is a good thing.

Some people here talk absolute crap, I'm sure if someone on Sky News was offered a job to present on BBC or ITV they most certainly would for these simple reasons:

A) About a million times more high profile - so what if SKY NEWS is broadcast around the world - how many people actually watch it?! Also how many people heard of Penny Smith until she startes presenting GMTV?

B) Money - BBC and ITV presenters are paid loads more than the news channel presenters

C)Cheshire was saying newsreaders would rather be presenting the news for three hours instead of being on for 1/2 an hour - what absolute pap!
