Night and Day vs. Crossroads

C'mon... soaps head to head, which do you prefer?

The two soaps are very different. I get fed up with all the soaps. They're so predictable.

Soaps are a microcosm of all that is wrong with TV today. TV execs find a formula that works, and thrash it to death. Both N&D and Crossroads are unnecessary pieces of tat which blot the schedules and get in the way of real programming.

Take Emmerdale (please!!!). Why on earth do we need this bloody thing on 5 nights a week??? Then we've got Corrie on nearly as often, and a million and one other bloody soaps dominating the schedules.

Is it any wonder people are switching off in their droves? And people complain about the sport programmes!!!

But, I will vote for N&D, if only to spite James M (lol). It also at least gives us straight blokes an excuse to perv at teenage girls (ahem!!)

I only watch Thursdays X-Rated at 10.20 so I'll find out in ooh, 39 minutes, only for some daft reason ITV1 runs late by about 10 minutes on Thursday nights!

I did try to get into the new Crossy (having occasionally seen bits of the final incarnation of old version in the late 80s/early 90s) but gave up after about a week... I am getting into N&D though,, it is good thus far...

I have to say that Night & Day has got me hooked. It's just got so much style. OK, there isn't that much that happens each episode but that doesn't seem to matter somehow. It's the music, the effects, the atmosphere, intrigue and the imaginative camera work.

I think that Night and Day isn't that bad but it's trying to be a bit like hollyoaks.

I watch Crossroads now and again but do overact sometimes.

But I prefer Crossroads.

I like Night and Day, but only because Glynis Barber who plays Fiona is in it!

Why is there no option for 'They're both crap'?

Because it's not the case !
