Yeah, I'm not usually a morning person but I woke up at 6:55 to see Nicky presenting UK Today! I was very surprised and realised there must of been a reason why I got up. Wink

Nicky, do you think they should re-introduce the music for the regional opt outs? Like they did up until about 1998 when BN was rebranded.
It was much better IMO.

Do you know official figures of how many people watch UK Today?

I tried to work it out, Starting with how many people have Digital Sateilite
minus those in the Nations,
minus those who are not watching TV at the time,
minus those who are watching another channel and then
minus those who Press TV and Button 1 for their local programme

How many does that leave!

I'm afraid I don't know the official figures but I did hear that it gets around the same amount of viewers as one of the popular regional programmes.

They do still have opt out + opt in music - just in the current BBC News style. Everything needs updating every now and then.
