So, Nickelodeon in the UK have finally decided to broadcast something not from their counterparts in the US that's been recently aired. And, it's a form of quiz show.

The program, which will air at 6:30 on Monday, will be hosted by Dick (and Dom?), and is a quiz show where they give the contestants the answers. I haven't the foggiest of the exact details, but the promo I saw on ITV 1 yesterday saw the return of the Sludge/Slime stuff they used in their Morning TV program about five years ago.

So, what do you think? Is it just one last attempt at making something themselves? As, as far as Wikipedia can tell me, they have Jamie and Anna from Toonatik doing links on the Weekends, but apart from that, it's all they've got.

Sounds interesting, especially if it's Richard McCourt alone, or is it both of them?

Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend is a bit of a Saturday Morning show for them (albeit on all weekend) as it contains sketches and games along with simple links.

Nickelodeon seem to show a few British Production such as Genie in the house & Summer In Transylvania. I don't know how these work, they seem to be British Productions, but unsure if they have any outside funding invested into them.

Nickelodeon seem to be investing in new UK content, a lot more than Disney, and even more than CITV seem to be. I see that CITV have the cool stuff collective, and that's about the only new UK production I can see.

With Nick putting money into Jamie & Anna's Big Weekend, it seems as though they've dropped Teennick from the channel, or it appears that way on the website.

I haven't watched Nickelodeon UK since i was a kid in the early to mid 90s, but did they ever have their own actual shows on the UK version?

I do seem to remember them having their own live presentation all day, with the two twins that weren't twins. I seem to remember their studio being in a London shopping centre??

During the summer holidays, they'd put a bit more effort into their live presentation, bring kids into the studio etc

That would be Moo and Yoo:

As the comment on that clip reminds me, their studio used to be in the Trocadero, then moved to Rathbone Place, just off Oxford Street. They're still there, though what was once the studio just has blacked-out windows, which you can see on Street View. (move to the left a little bit to see their main reception, and see if you can spot Spongebob in the next window)

Didn't they re use that former studio space for the TeenNick links? Whichever space they used definitely had a window with street view that they covered with coloured squares.

Whatever happened to Moo and Yoo? Are they presenting somewhere that I am unaware of, either together or individually, or are they dead?

One of them did the rounds on various quiz channels (and ITV's The Mint I think) a few years ago.

The one who was on 'The Mint' stayed on Nick for quite a bit longer than the other one too. I remember switching over to it randomly only a few years ago and she was still there.

That was about five years ago then they go rid of all presenters and have been bringing presenters for short stints at particular times of year eg summer, christmas and half term, but now weekends too

EDIT: 2004 was the year all 4 main presenters were scrapped inc Yiolanda Koppel
