Yes, that crush happened about eight years ago now, and I STILL have all the magazine pictures that I collected back then! Paul Hudson I believe started presenting the weather on Look North in 1997. My crush on him began in May this year!

i think nick is a nice bloke too - but he doesnt fit into the set of presenters midlands today have. for his humour to work he needs someone to 'banter' with, preferably female, and younger ... no disrespect to sue or kay, as they are good at newsreading, and the team worked well during the alan towers era, and even during the sue&mike colly era too - ie fairly sensible presenting.
they need someone like jo malin on central, who works well with bob warman, unless nick defects to central so mids2day can be sensible, or, mids today find a jo malin clone - i dont think nick will ever reach his true potential, and hell carry on looking embarresed after making the jokes.
i think the bbc tried getting a young female - ie when they poached suzanne virdee - but shes just a young sue beardsmore (but shed be good on N24 i reakon)
