I see that MTV Music is to become Nick Music and move to 353 on Sky at some point. Anyone know anything more about this?

Where did you see this? NickMusic exists in the USA, Australia/NZ and the Netherlands, but I've not heard of any plans for a UK launch.

I'm checking the Sky Community topic and I'm not seeing anything about it. Still, would be an interesting launch - there isn't really a kids-oriented music channel out there at the moment.

Yeah, otherwise it would be reported from the Sky Community 'Changes to the Sky TV guide' thread. Also, 353? Would it make sense to move it next to Nick's other childrens networks? 353 is a odd number for a childrens music station and POP used to be one of them.

This isn't another Paul Akinbola-esque fantasy is it?

"Nick Music" sounds like an incitement to go shoplifting at HMV.

You're such a fantasist, you do know that?

Seeing as MTV Music is currently the highest rating MTV music-based channel of the family (and 2nd most watched music channel in the country, only to Now 80's), I can't see ViacomCBS axing it any time soon.

In the 'Unconfirmed future EPG changes' section.

There's no citations or references attached to this alleged rebrand.

It ain't gonna happen folks, no wonder it's 'Unconfirmed'...

Then again there was a "future" channel launch called Animax, then changed to WarnerMedia Anime which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Ah yes, my favourite channel, NBCUniversal Sci-Fi!

Until recently, that page also included the upcoming rebrands of Quest, Really, Quest Red, Food Network, DMAX, HGTV and TLC in 2021 as Discovery Quest, Discovery Really, Discovery Quest Red, etc., which was never confirmed, and has now been removed from that page.

The fact that these channels now have their own section on Sky catch up (with the rather clunky name of "Quest, Really, Quest Red, Food Network, DMAX & HGTV") shows that they have no intention of rebranding them.
