Because it isn't Spitting Image? They may both be political satire - but the artistic style of the two shows is pretty different.

Is it that different? The CGI characters have sticks to make them look like puppets, and it also involves some Spitting Image veterans.

People seem to overlook that Spitting Image was its own production company, hence it being a "Spitting Image Production in association with Central" and probably a trademarked name, so ITV couldn't use it themselves.

Actually it is puppets, with the mouths and eyes CGI added in.
