I'm not tempted to download that link, all those download sites seem dodgy to me.
However the full tune isn't really that rare, I assume this is the same as that link, possibly even longer.
Apart from discussing the many forums this could fit into, I thought I'd contribute a upload on 4Shared of the Newsround 1972-1986 56second opening theme and full length ending theme (yes! There was a bit before the sting that nobody heard!)

Well it certainly needs an apostrophe - along with his sign-on
Should that post not have been in the requests area?

And there's a live version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4TXL1kYSYY
That link doesn't include the full length ending theme.

I wonder if there will be a full length teatime bulletin after CBBC on One is no more
BU
I've noticed the CBBC bulletins are frequently around five minutes long these days, not far off the BBC One length, so perhaps the plan is to have a few of them rather than focus on the main one. Certainly you'll probably see a reshuffle of the CBBC schedule when BBC1 ends as there is a 5.15 junction currently to catch anyone switching over at the end of the BBC1 block (anyone...anyone at all?).

But the actual 5pm bulletin is only about 6.5 minutes in length!!!
They could keep the 5:15 junction and just move the main Newsround bulletin to CBBC Channel, keeping it's 5pm timeslot.
