Newsroom South East

Yes, on Wales Today all you get is 'A sheep has had a heart attack on Snowden'.

And in the North West Today the main headline was to legalise Brothals! Dear me - why can;t they come up with something better?

Just the window and the sidebar. The rest of the set is most definitely real.



It's jolly annoying, we are usually treated like we don't exist. The travel news in the mornings only ever relates to London, for example. And with a programme with a title like 'London Live' on its way I just know things aren't going to change.

On the other hand I don't think anything ever happens in Surrey anyway.

i like the studio, very cosy!

Why don't they have a title on the download? Did the tech guy forget to?

Any chance of a screenshot of the other astons - I heard the name and live astons had changed a little as well...

Not really, they are basically the same. The only change is that the second line is not bold, and that the astons fade up and down more slowly. Sounds stupid, dosen't it?

One other minor change is the LIVE graphic - instead of extending to the left of the screen, it is now the same as the national graphic.

Is NSE really 16:9 or is it 14:9? I thought that was what BBC news was using as a bridge before full 16:9.

It IS real 16:9, but of course that can only be seen by those of us with digital terrestrial.

Which areas outside Greater London will receive BBC London's 'London Live' when it launches?! Surely there are some people who should be watching other programmes but don't and are then moan because their area never gets covered. For example people in Reading - why do some people there watch NSE when Reading is clearly shown on the titles of South Today?!

Surrey, some of west Kent, south Essex, Hertfordshire, south Bedfordshire, south Buckinghamshire and east Berkshire.



I believe that's simply because half of Reading gets a better signal from Crystal Palace. It does feature on the Newsroom South East titles as well.

Surrey, where I live, is served by two transmitters at Reigate and Guildford both of which relay the Crystal Palace signal.  We are definitely in the editorial area of NSE as the map in the titles proves it, and the titles clearly mention the towns of Reigate, Guildford and Woking.

And yet we still never get mentioned in the programme!!

I see hes only using a laptop, no computer under the desk then?

Its the same as Luton, that appears on both Look East and Newsroom South East's titles!
