There is also, I believe, a printer in the main BBC News studio for national bulletins but it is to the right of the cameras as we see it - behind them, ie. if you are sitting presenting, the printer is to the left of the left-hand camera. You sometimes see someone bringing in new bits of paper to the presenter during reports if there is breaking news or the running order changes.
news 24 is a good example of seing people behind the cameras as there reflection appears on the glass behind the presenter if you look really carefully. you quite often see the business presenter walking out
There is a laser printer to the right of Moira/Asad of Breakfast in the morning. When Sophie & Jeremy hand over you can see it in the bottom right of the screen along with the presenters mobile phone. I hope its not switched on! That could be embarassing!
And Huw seems to of stop doing it now but at the end of the 6 he used to chuch pieces of paper in the bin to the left of him!

I can remember, shortly before her sad death, Jill Dando turning to Nick Ross at the end of Crimewatch and saying 'Well, that went well, didn't it?' thinking that the sound was off them. It was really nice because it showed how human TV presenters are.
