Since Newsround Newsnight and Braekfast are in the same studio why not create a more flexable set that could be adapted for each programe in the day but designed generically with slight variations similar to the old BBC News set.

the designs are good. newsround is just what i would expect it to look like. Im not keen on the green in the newsnight logo but the design is good.

I think Newsround and Newsnight should go corporate. It just looks silly because every other BBC News programme has the same basic look, they probably will eventually.
BTW, has anyone heard anything more about when BBC News is moving back to Broadcasting House. I heard or read somewhere that they were moving back at the end of the decade or something…
Where have you heard that BBC News is moving back to broadcasting house???? They have just spent millions on the new news centre. millions of our money, if they move back i wouldnt be happy. I wouldnt of thought that broadcasting house was big enough anyway.
Ive had a reply from the editor of newsnight. I asked if they were planning to update newsnight with the corporate look and they said they have no plans at the moment to update.
