I decided to watch Walking with Beasts (lets not go there!) anyways, afterwards I saw an ad for BBC Newsline (Northern Ireland Regional News), it was essentially an ad for what was coming up after the news at ten.

The thing is, that the graphics they used look nothing like the corporate look, and they had a 30 second countdown in the top left of the screen!!!! The countdown ran backwards like on N24 and World. It was quite surreal.

Now this is the first I've seen of it. It certainly doesn't fit in with the corporate look.

So whats goin on? Anyone know.

I have it recorded, but no access to video software.

This has been going out for the past couple of weeks now, and can also be seen on Digital BBC 2NI around 8pm.

The music is the headline bed with the gunshots and the only look of corporate are the 'radio waves' expanding out

But maybe it's becasue they might be changing a few things soon?

Just a thought.

I saw it as well last night - the first time I had seen it (around 9pm I think). I thought it was fantastic and much more dynamic and futuristic than a boring 2 min update (like the type that UTV do). Am I right in saying we could not see Sarah Travers but just hear her voice?
