I quite liked the 'Whenever Wherever' ones, with the camera systematically zooming out from the original car bomb, though the camera and TV screen, and eventually to Gavin Eslar (who seems to be in all promo vids) in the N24 studio.
The Beeb are good at this sort of thing, but I can't really think of another corporation who advertise themselves in this way, apart from Sky News Active adverts (enough said).
It was really good example of how news gets to us and just what goes on. Bring it back. I never got bored of seeing it, and I can't that about many promo's!

I liked it too, it was shot on location in south africa at grate expence.
It had a small deatail at the begining which i thought was funny, the watch used to detonate the bomb had BBC on it.
I think it was shown on the saturday of the bomb.
Did anyone capture the Ad when it was broadcast?
Someone must have been listening to me - they showed the ad (the berlin wall one) last night and the aspect ratio has been sorted. but, there is still that one about Ancient Apocolaluyse or however you spell it - the words are half of the screen again. perhaps i should start saving for a WS TV.....
