Peter Dobbie is my favourite newsreader... and I love Jane Hill. Does anyone remember the bad screw-up she made a few months ago when she laughed throughout an entire interview? http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Lucy Hockings filled in Heather's old slot on News 24 last night. Its nice to see her again, I love an Austrailian voice!

Lucy's great, but her accent is interesting. She's from New Zealand by the way noy Australia. Anyone remember when she talked about the Nobel P i s s Prizehttp://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I have to admit, I'm quite warming to Peter Dobbie! My God, <shock, horror> Matthew Amroliwala's got some competition!

Yeah, Lucy's great!  It must have been this time last year that I seen her last.  But I think she has been doing BBC World for sometime!  Well on BBC World today we had Jane Hill on until 1pm and now it's Peter Dobbie.  I don't know who was on before Jane, but she was good!

Thats interesting, the BBC must just have the same presenters on for both N24 and World today! Jane did 1pm-6pm on News 24, just after she finished on World. Peter Dobbie is taking over on N24 at 6pm!
