Well the LIVE DOG is now way smaller than the clock width, and a top left Location aston has also been bodged on it.

It looks a right mess.

I quite like it but I think the location thing should be at least the size of the DOG.

The new graphics are crisper but why do they flicker so much? It looked horrid during that other capped report (the gay bishop USA one)

BREAKING NEWS

Brand new BREAKING NEWS aston. Quick typing and a deep red top with a bright red bottom (urgh). At last you can distingush between them again even if it is a bit garish.

Don't even get me started on the type ... you could drive a truck between the 1 and the 9 in the clock ... and the "London Manston Airport" text isn't even in the right font! You'd think that they'd be able to use something other than Helvetica -- especially if it's their brand for crying out loud!

EDIT: Looks like the fixed the Helvetica thing on the Breaking News strap ... thank goodness.

Mike Embley has been pushing for more subliminal promotions across the channel Wink

one in 20 frames will soon become "NEWS 24 IS BRILL", to reinforce the message.
