Fans of the World Set should be able to view it overnight for the next three months. Whether this means any changes to the set up on the main News24 set or not, well, I couldn't possibly comment Wink

THREE MONTHS!!!! Why's that?

Surely they can't do that much overnight. Unless it's ready to go on air it all has to come down for 9am the next morning!

Why've they got rid of the red breaking news aston - I thought that was better than having the same as normal infostraps.

Whatever they are doing in 3months, cant be anything visually, because it would dsirupt News 24 during the day. Unless the News 24 Floor Manager and team are building a new set elsewhere, during the wee hours, which would explain why they hand over to BBC World studio teams during the night...

You like having pink astons? Shocked

I thought getting rid of that monstrosity was one of the few good things that N24 have done graphics-wise recently Wink

I liked it - at least you could tell the two things apart. They have to do something about the astons - they are just terrible.

I don't think you would get many floor managers who were much good with a hammer

I don't think you should ever get a job in electronics moss as you seem to be colour blind!

This is pink

This is red

The News 24 breaking news aston was definitely not pink!

The three months of overnights are to fix the horrendous problems N24 has with air conditioning.

No doubt someone can come up with a screengrab to prove who is right Smile

Besides, I'd never get into electronics or electrical stuff. Last time I had to wire a plug was at school, and the teacher said if I'd plugged it in I would have electrocuted myself Wink
