The information aston just dosen't seem to work as good as it should the text dosen't seem to flow through, it types out one line of text, then there is a delay before the next line of text is typed up, but they've got the old one(which works perfectly) running in the background, how pathetic is that!
Also, the information aston has got transparancy, but this is leaving a strange shadow effect on the text and the red bit!
And that location strap just below the BBC News 24 DOG, bloody hell it does look sh it.

I like it's slight pauses, it reminds me of the vidiprinter that does the football results on Grandstand.....
I guess, but I don't think it's meant to do that, it hasn't been implemented properly as sometimes it totally cocks up as the text appears all at once!

I noticed the double type thing aswell. I like the new locations trap but it seemed to look nicer yesterday. I think they've now got it in Ultra Bold or something.
There's something about television presentation that really does annoy me; screen clutter. Afraid to say News 24 is a serious offender. They have that 'Breaking News' thing, the further info below that and, not content with that, they then add a videophone/camera link shot to the person talking, and then heap another aston on top describing who the person talking is, and this is with the clock, the 'Press Red' thing AND the News 24 DOG in the top left of the picture!!
How many pairs of eyes do they think we've got to take all that information in?
The new system seemed to get really confused for about 20 seconds just after 2 this afternoon. There was a report on the heatwave and the aston kept flickering between a regular one and a BREAKING NEWS one - with the same text on the black/red lower part of the aston.

That new phone graphics is horrid. I like the old smaller one.
just saw that this morning - what the hell have they doen to it? its way to big.
the look of the channel is a mess the LIVE thing does not go well with the breaking news red colour. the new location thing needs to be a set length not what ever it needs to be.
there is just two much stuff on screen
and please somebody put a smile on the two that present in the morning!
