I'm sorry, but what's that got to do with this BBC News 24 Ticker. Infact neither of your posts there seem to have any relevance... not that I'm being picky or anything.

So people, I think this ticker rumour has some truth in it but I bet this Thursday was the day this new technology was put into use.

The ticker is coming and that is no secret. It was thought it would have been available the Iraq War but it was not ready. There is some final tweaking being done - including some modification to the aston design. I admit the date I had was wrong but its launch is imminent. Launch dates slip but it will happen.

Thats rich. Perhaps c@t should learn to control herself. Theres no need for bad language, it really brings her standards down.

Yes, whereas you by comparison have such a poor standard of posting that it would be something of a challenge to bring them down any further.

Encapsulated in the vast majority my posts are valid, reasoned and logical arguments relevant to the thread - the same cannot be said for yours.

F uck off back to Fairyland if you don't like the swearing.

Guys, you are completely ruining my enjoyment of this thread and forum. Please have some consideration for others and argue in private if you think anything will come of it.

Given that the inquiry has yet to consider any evidence, yet alone apportion any blame in the Kelly affair, it's a bit early to make judgements like this. Do the poll after the inquiry has published

But that's irrelevant. On the basis of what has been played out over the last few months, ie. the bickering between government and the BBC, their reputation is already tarnished to some extent, regardless of the findings of the enquiry.

All I'm saying is that it is inevitable that the BBC's reputation has fallen given the maulling it has got from a number of vested interests over the past few weeks. Dr Kelly's own MP said that the BBC killed him!

If the Kelly report clears the BBC of blame then trust will recover. If the BBC is found to be to blame then trust will probably fall further.

really? I find these arguments the best bit of the forum. It's not a discussion board if there is not disagreement.

Mr Spiring, I have yet to see a post from you that contains any evidence of intelligence or reasoned debate. Please either contribute thoughtfully or don't contribute at all.

Thank you please.

Probably not the right place, but it saves starting a new thread.
I was flicking around the channels last night and caught a little of Business Today. Two points:
a) I thought it was quite an interesting mix of the music under the business headlines at 22:45 (now, excuse my ignorance, but is this music called a vamp, a bed or what?)
b) how long have they had a gradient on the astons - they look somewhat classier than the regular N24 ones
