I'm sure Rockefeller building doesn't have a big screen on the side of it, although there are screens showing NBC in their lobby. NBC have a big screen in Times Square which at times shows LIVE NBC (Anne Robinson adverts are on it a lot though!)

Well, I've finally seen one of the News 24 posters.
Black and white, large letters, very prominent.

'When the newsreader says its the end of the news, he's plain wrong .  BBC News 24 - because the news never ends'.

I have to say that impressed though I was,  I couldn't help but think of Chris Morris and The Day Today though (... the world is in fact square, because fact x importance = news....   game warden to the events rhino, etc.)

When I finally got to the concourse at Victoria station, apart from finding they were in the process of installing yet more bloody automatic ticket gates there, they have also installed a large electronic screen showing adverts and graphics from the ITN News Channel.

What I saw of it consisted of a series of graphics, News, Sport and Weather, with appropriate colour schemes, a headline at the bottom and a TV window on the right.   I assume they produce 2 or 3 clips and these are send down an ADSL line or similar.

Anyone know any more about this arrangement?  Do ITN get paid for providing this service, or do they actually own and pay for having the screen there, and also sell advertising on it.

A live feed of Sky or News 24 (with sound obviously) would be excellent...

When I looked at the News 24 ad, the first thing came up to me was why it say's he's plain wrong, don't you think they should have said 'they're plain wrong', the poster's trying to say that female women presenters don't say that!

Having seen a couple of the News24 ads now on BBC One I have to say they must be some of the worst ads the BBC has made - they just don't sound or look right. Also my family just don't understand what the point of the advert is.

I agree. It's one of the worst ad campaigns ever. No doubt they paid a fourtune to some agency to do it.
