Yes, did notice it - wasn't on for long enough to take full notice of it though! Did look better than the normal one with the channel numbers on. Wonder if it will be there at 5.30 or if they were just having some fun with the graphics machine!

I saw that too - but I had Ceefax page 606 on-screen so I just saw about 20% of the animation, by the time I found the remote to goback into TV mode, it had gone
A good idea would be to have instead of the ordinary computer-generated sidebar next to the presenters, get in one of those plasma screens, and have moving pictures like on Newsround.
BBC News should be more like Newsround, not the other way round as has been suggested in some earlier posts

Newsround is actually not a bad programme, but I don't think the main news should be like it. Newsround does not updating - but not to be corporate - variety is the spice of life after all!
