There's no telling some folk is there?!!! X-(

Believe what you want to believe Chesh.
Just because you don't get a personal reply, if one at all, does not mean they are not read

You sonud like such a typical BBC Employee.
'I can assure you sir, all emails are taken into deep consideration and are passed on to the relevant departments'.
Yeah yeah.
I know the emails are read!
But they are NOT given as much priority as letters and are not taken as seriously as letters, that is a well known fact!

How can the BBC - the people with the largest website in Europe and possibley the world (we're not counting Geocites and stuff like that here) not take e-mail seriously.

BBC Online is the third most important medium to the BBC after TV and Radio.

Just because you don't get a responce doesn't mean it hasn't been taken seriously

I had a nice reply from the BBC regarding Jeremy Bowen and Breakfast. It actually went into great detail about what i had wrote and i thought it was a good response. Ooohhh that reminds me. I must email Sky regarding Sky+.

Oh god.
this is just like the bias thing we had a month or so ago.
My point was that everyone knows the BBC is a labour loving network yet noone would believe me because you needed proof, regardless of the fact that it is one of the most well known facts in broadcasting.

FACT: COMPLAINTS VIA E-MAIL AT THE BBC ARE NOT TAKEN AS SERIOUSLY AND ARE NOT FOLLOWED UP AS GREATLY AS THEIR HAND WRITTEN COUNTERPARTS

Whether you didn't know about that or not it is the case, and although every BBC employee likes to believe their network can do no wrong, that is just one of the most well known facts at the BBC!
Sorry if you don't like it, but it is so well known that I cannot believe you had never known about it before!

I've sent emails to Midlands Today and UK Today recently and I haven't received a reply. Sad

When I sent emails before I got responses but now it just seems like they couldn't care.

I always get a response to letters though. Smile

Living proof, ok it is in the form of Ison. but that isn't the point, we can count him as 'living' for the sake of arguement Wink

This is going to be my last post into this thread.
When I joined TVHome I had hoped for intellectual stimulus about Presentation matters, but this thread (sigh) proves me wrong

It is not a case of 'not caring', it is a case of being inundated with suggestions, comments, complaints, requests, self invites etc etc

Oh sod it... it's really not worth continuing this! X-(

Can I just get one thing straight.

I was not trying to take side or say things like 'its better than the other one'

I'm sorry that I put that message across, but I was just adding to the topic that the thread was discussing.

There is nothing more annoying for me than the 'News 24 Vs Sky News' threads because its just basically saying stupid things to each other!

So lets get back on topic and forget all about this before it develops into something it shouldn't.
