Millionaire has finally opened up the the applications for normal contestants.

They did that 7 months ago, as discussed from page 11 of this thread.

They have reposted it on their Facebook page...

I see that tonight's WWTBAM is not live but back with normal contestants again - shame it is only a 3 programme run over the next 3 weeks. Crying or Very sad

I can't see it listed on ITV 2 though, so I can't see how it will work. Confused

Just catching up on +1. I notice they still haven't put the right music in for questions 1 & 2...

Phone a Friend really isn't Phone a Friend anymore is it when they are beamed live into the studio. I think a shakeup is in order....

Maybe the music you think is the right music, isn't the right music anymore.

Didn't Chris refer to the programme as being live.
The format works well in my opinion, the only the thing that they need to amend is the title 'Phone a Friend' to 'Ask a Friend'.

Well the US replacement of Phone-A-Friend, itself out of commission now.

Yep and Meredith is also out of commission now as well....I can foresee it getting cancelled as Meredith made the show her own. I doubt 'Cedric the Entertainer' will be able to emulate the success she has had with the show.

Yes - this is a disapointment, I wonder why they do not use the Questions 1 & 2 music anymore?? Sorry it was live too - I thought it was recorded - it certainly wasn't billed as being live in the listings magazine as it usually is.

I did think the questions tonight were remarkably easy - all contestants should be able to get to the £50,000 milestone without too much difficulty in my opinion - something which did not happen tonight Rolling Eyes .
