7th June would have been a Thursday Confused I guess it is the best non-football rating at 9pm on ITV since then?

It feels really weird when the contestants leave without the sound effect!

Yes, they've certainly messed up the music & general presentation of the show. It used to be really slick.

The key pads just didn't work. And the audience were made to hold up a piece of paper with A, B, C or D on it.

I hope the audience throw those cards at Chris Tarrent at the end of the programme like a football crowd would, Chris Tarrent could then run away like a referee.

How quick did they get the pieces of paper, or did they anticipate the keypads going kaput at some point?

It was clearly a contingency plan made in advance, they must have had them there. Whether it's something they did deliberately to get Twitter mentions, I'm unsure.

The paper/cards were already there as possibly a contingency plan, just in case of technical difficulties.

Must admit I do like this series so far - more or less back to basics and is very enjoyable - now if the rules went back to basic I think it would be more or less perfect plus, of course, bring back fastest finger first!

That's more or less what I said except even less articulately.

I do think the new look set is very sleek and the best looking out of the 116 variations from throughout the world.

However it will never match the lighting and strobes that the USA version had for Super Millionaire, and that was 8 years ago!

Their live shows were always slick and very clean and didn't seem rushed to make it fit into the allotted timeslot.

I noticed after mine got posted, but it least we were both correct! Wink

Am I the only one who thinks its rubbish? The set is an X-factor castoff and I've never like the remixed techno-techno-techno music, that coupled with live associated dodginess and roughness around the edges and the backscreen stuff made it for me at least pretty awful.
