Victory is basically Sony UK TV Productions. Two Way were the producers after Celeador finally sold out when the money became big enough. Two Way seem to have been reduced to being the name for the format sales these days (although somewhere in the back of my mind, I'm sure Endemol have a connection to Millionaire as well)
Victory Television also produced ITV1's The Exit List.
Sony also have stakes in Gogglebox Entertainment (producers of BBC Twos BreakAway) and also Fever Media.
ITV1 are currently showing an episode of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? from 2010. Anyone know why? Have they given up?
I honestly had to make sure I wasn't watching Challenge [TV].
I was thinking the same. I didn't click in until I saw the lack of clock. Seems a very off filler episode, especially as the phone in competition was still included, albeit with a 'this is a repeat' caption on screen.

Maybe they are testing the water for the new general public editions coming soon? Anyway, this was a far more polished production compared to what we've seen recently.
There's another special WWTBAM on Sunday before the Britain's Got Talent Live Semi Finals. Oddly though, it's only 45 minutes long and features quite a number of BGT celebs. Unsure if it is live? How come it is only 45 minutes long? With all the time they normally waste, how will they be able to fit everyone into the show?? It is most intriguing... I cannot remmeber a WWTBAM show being 45 minutes before...

There's 3 couples on the show, so I'm guessing they didn't do very well, so had to be cut down (I was in the audience of a celebrity special the following day, which featured 3 couples and the final couple ran out of time, and that's going to be a 1 hour episode as they filmed 4 parts).
It's not live, it was recorded last week. It's the first non-live episode for over a year, so it looks like they've seen sense and gone back to pre-recording it.

I'm sure they've pre-recorded one around Christmas or New Year?

Wasn't Millionaire sometimes only 30 minutes when it first launched?
The Remembrance Day episode wasn't live either. There is no point in watching this dated show if it isn't live. It needs that gimmick for it to work now. I enjoyed watching Chris Tarrent struggling to understand the rules and panicking more than the contestants.
To do it well, they'd most probably need to do a million pound drop idea of having a series & dropping the celebrities randomly into odd episodes so that like original millionaire, normal folk can roll over to the next shows. Maybe they should try going back to the 30 minute format or air it daily for a couple of weeks to see if it helps.
