New UTV Ident?

Noticed before Corry today that UTV used this Ident, with Music played along side it.

Was this not the previous Break Bumper used by UTV before Christmas, I was wondering why they never went back to it, but continued to use there old one.

Sad to say Roy, but that's not a new ident... it was launched alongside the rest of the place idents in November 2003, although it's been a while since UTV have shown it before any programmes.

i have never seen it used as an ident before, was it the usual old-style itv1 music?

Ahh Rite! I don't think I can recall seeing that Ident some years back, but never mind. The one thing that would be nice is for UTV to design/make an Ident like the one you see for ITV1.. Spend time on one, make it look good, and let it be a hit.. Theres no point in putting a few mins in the one above, because no one will like it.
