Does anybody know much about the new series of ultimate force that starts on saturday. I didnt think there would be another series since the last episode of last series was pulled.

It wasn't "pulled" anyway, many critics assumed it had been pulled due to low ratings but it was never actually in the schedules. They just decided to show the series in 2 parts.
IIRC ITV pulled the last couple of episodes as they felt it was inappropriate, as I believe the episodes are set somewhere in the Middle East, so they didn't show them at the time, though everyone thought the programme had been axed. But the last time it was shown on a Saturday the ratings were at a good strong 5 million.
As I said I think this is just the episode that wasn't shown last time around (pretty sure there was only one episode out of the 4 from the series that was pulled).
I for one feel Ross Kemp should have signed to return to EastEnders rather than make another series of Ultimate Force. Everyone has their own tastes but I think Ultimate Force is awfull personally.
I still reckon Ross Kemp will return to EastEnders eventually. He has already said he is not turning his back on the show and according to Digital Spy, Kemp is seeing how things pan out in the ratings.
So maybe hardman Grant may still be back before Christmas!
As a young boy I would pick up a comic and read an adventure story. Now, as an elderly and frail man I will watch something like Ultimate Force. Anyone looking for hidden depths, great drama, performances worthy of the RSC or philosophical social comment should look elsewhere.
