New UKTV Channel "Drama"

Incidentally a carchup player deal has been concluded for UKTV on YouView soon.

Good addition, as good as YouView is, it is lacking, I'm on TalkTalk and all we have as an extra is TalkTalk Player, which recently lost a lot of content as they no longer had WBTV as a section. Our installer a few months ago suggested they were trying to get YouTube onto the platform.

Even if UKTV's players are mostly BBC repeats that's fine by me, I watch plenty of Dave.

This new channel is to show The Bill, does anyone have any idea which series/year/era?

Presumably they'll pick up from where Watch are leaving off (as they did UKTV Gold).

Freeview viewers will need to retune from Midday on Thursday in order to get Drama.

Awesome!! I love The Bill!! I've been wanting to see The Bill repeats for a long time and now they're going to be on Freeview - excellent stuff!! Hope they're older series!!

I am sure someone will, but I don't know if I will be in, when the channel launches, so can somebody please record it? I would be greatly appriciated.

Is it move off watch?! I didn't know that, is that confirmed or just your speculation? As remember Alibi and Watch both showed the bill at one time with watch showing more recent episodes (2009) with alibi showing older episodes (2001).




Yeah I'm also a big the bill fan so very pleased to hear that drama will be showing it. Also hoping its older series anything from start-2003 would please me be very disappointed if its similar era to the watch ones as they've been shown a few times in recent years.
