New titles for cornation street

For the first time in over 11 years Coronation street is getting new titles. The new titles will feature pictures of manchester and houses streching into the distance. The music and the typeface will be retained. More info here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/displayarticle.php?id=4470

What you failed to mention is it coincides with the launch of Coronation St in widescreen http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/cheesy.gif .. or did you try to forget?

Ill be watching it in 4:3 anyway. the joys of digital.

So they'll be similar to brookside's titles...

The music that needs updating also a new mix perhaps...

The music is not changing which is a good idea. Most of us know what happened when the BBC changed the title music to EastEnders in 1993. 11 months later and a minor remix of the original appeared.

The advanced Member bit has gone from our profiles.

And that is related to Coronation St getting new titles in what way?

Well, I mentioned that I was an advanced member.

One thing I hate about ITV these days is the way they ruin all programmes' ending titles, by shoving them onto the right where you can hardly read them. And the yellow and black look awful too.

Good news about the Corrie titles though...
