About time too. IIRC, the previous go back to 2002.

Is it really that long? I wouldve said 2004 or even 2005?

Well I remember they were in use when Cassie was murdered by the Sun Hill serial killer, and that was in December 2002

I'm quite sure the last set of titles went to air in February 2003 (which probably tallies with the closeness to Christmas 2002, given how long they drag plots out for now). I know, as I put them up on TV Whirl within days of it starting, and wrote that down on the page at the time. Razz

(There probably would be the archive thread about, if that thing was working still)

I read in a magazine that June is leaving sometime this year.

Slightly OT, but what's the Bill like these days. I used to be an avid fan but stopped watching just after the Eddie Santini story and things started to be a little less police-focused. Has there been a move back to a more believable crime focus or are people still having affairs etc.

I tend to dip in and out of the Bill, its one of those dramas where you can watch one episode and miss another and still pick up what is going on.

I would say its a bit better than it used to be a few years ago when it got too much like a soap. Wish they would cut it back to one hour a week though as id be more likely to catch every episode if they did.

As for the new titles, I quite like them. Its nice to have a change once in a while.

yes, they got a new executive producer who swiftly moved to repair the damage left by his predecessor. It still contains the odd soap/relationship plot but it's main focus is back on crime and it's nowhere near as bad as it was before.

Does anyone know when the new End Titles will be shown? If you don't know what I'm talking about I have put it below, but behind Spoiler quotes in case some dont want to know.
The Return of the Walking Feet

the 'end titles' are corporate blue like the majority of ITV programmes. No walking feet.

The article suggests it was last night. But as you say generic titles so far

the article says nothing about end credits. That's because there will be none.
