If you look on Digital Spy's soaps section it has an explanation for the new titles.

About time too. IIRC, the previous go back to 2002.

Is it really that long? I wouldve said 2004 or even 2005?

Wow! I love them! Anyone got the closing credits also? Very Happy

Nope - don't like at all I'm afraid!

They may have worked in the 80's, but they look pretty amatuerish by today's standards. The current them just doesn't work with them either.

I know alot of people will believe a touch of nostalgia is a good thing, but not in this case I'm afraid. I think The Bill, probably more than any comparable drama or soap, has probably moved on the most and this really is a step too far back.

The credits just used the generic ITV credits look.

Terrible. It makes it look like a cheap documentary on the Met. No drama, no danger, absolutely no sequential thought. Poor editing, poorly shot, zero post or grade. I love The Bill, but I'm afraid if I was coming to this as a new viewer, it simply wouldn't make me watch.
