The set on Sports Saturday is still the old Sky News studio that is being used as a temporary set.

Not much yet, but from the upstairs studio you can see the SSN studio and it's all rather dark blue.

I've been watching SSN for the last hour and it looks tons better, it reminds me of how it was before 2002 or so. I prefer having the tags idea so I've got some knowledge of what's coming next, they've even added a Weather one too, as well as pinching someone from Sky News too.

It is nice, but just little things that were there before perhaps should have been carried forward - such as the sidebar and headline strap animating out and in when going into or coming out of breaks. Also, there doesn't seem to be a 15-minute headline recap any longer, but it may be an exception today due to the Community Shield.

So, quite a big change after all, and the breaking news ticker is now effectively the same as Sky News' (yellow+ black).

No coincidence that they're using the same font as Eurosport?!

Are they still using the same music? I haven't been able to see the new look on TV yet.

Unfortunately my old TV only shows the top half of the red ticker, making it unreadable, still it needs replacing. It would be good if they changed to broadcasting in widescreen as it's sister channel Sky News does.
