Video - First 2 minutes of Sky Sports News New Look

A nice cock up on air at about 9.45am this morning on SSN, the graphics on the side crashed and then the screen was showing the sliver/metal background in full screen for over a minute until they suddenly cut to an ad break.

And even after they came back from the break there were no graphics for about two minutes, it must have been a hefty reboot.

I think it'll be people watching in pubs who will be complaining the most about it, I can imagine a few places where the bottom of the big screen would be obscured by people watching at the front, so people wouldn't be able to easily see the score.

Nice idea, but I think it'll be back in the top lef t before long.

I couldn't see the scoreboard at all yesterday. I had to keep asking how long was left of the match.

They're still using the old Sky Sports News logo on the overnight shift.

Pic of the new Super Sunday titles, not looking too different from the previous one:

I know it hasn't been done on SSN before, but I think that headline straps should now be used at the TOTH now - I think it would look a lot more professional, and the headlines look bare with just pictures.

Shame they are still using The Time is Now music, you would do thing they would come up with something more original, but we've got it for yet another year Mad

I have noticed the international broadcasts and UK broadcasts, now says Barclays Premier League, previously in the UK it was Barclays Premiership an overseas it was Barclays English Premier League.

TWI's titles are pretty poor, with the scoreboard just too big, the graphics are OK, but the animation is not as fluid.

Another small cockup yesterday was that some half time scores were followed straight away by the same score but with full time on. Anything to do with the new look?

More likely something to do with the Press Association data feed.
