New Sky Sports logo?

I know it wouldn't happen on Freeview, but you'd think on Sky at least they'd offer the option of viewing SSN in full screen too.

All looks good anyway.

I wonder if the more flashy HD logo is a subtle marketing attempt. "Look how dull and plain boring old sky sports is, AND THEN LOOK AT ME IN SUPER DOOPER HD!!!!!"

It's quite nice. It's alot easier to read, the old one was very utilitarian.

Having the scoreboard down there is gonna take a bit of getting used to.. nice and minimal, tho.

Haven't been overall impressed by Sky Sports News change, but the graphics look much more clearer and crisp, compared to the previous one.
The music used on Sky Sports News does sound reminiscent to 'Requiem for a Tower' by Lux Aeterna.

Just noticed that Sky Sports have placed their Scoreboard on the bottom left-hand corner. First time they've moved it since the start of the Premiership.

I see they've gone American with their graphics. They tend to do that on the NFL coverage, whenever I've seen it.

As for the scoreboard, I was wondering how long it would take them to put it on the bottom. It works great for cricket.

They're flashier, but more classy than american graphic could ever be.

Looking at the scoreboard, the clock goes red once on 45 minutes - similar to Super League and Rugby Union.
