So no clues as to what type of Digibox you have?

Updates are NOT sent out on a regional basis - they are sent out depending on which make and model of box you have.

And for those tryiing to force the download - DON'T - forcing a download may seriously muck up your box.

I've been looking on the Sky+ website and some of the demonstrations appear to show some of the new channel numbers:

Sky Sports 1 on 109, Sky News on 401...

I hope Sky will send a list of new numbers to everyone otherwise this will be very confusing to some!

Sports on the 100s what a strange system, especially as the terestrial channels have to stay on 101-105...

I don't like the sound of that if it's true. Perhaps Sky hopes by placing premium channels in the middle of the general entertainment section, it'll provide a constant reminder to people of their existence, and so they might be more likely to subscribe to them. If so, it's a bit of a cheap ploy... and I can't see UKTV Gold being too thrilled at being shunted down the EPG.

That's bizarre- I thought the idea was to better demarcate the genres on digital TV- presumably all of the Sky sports channels are in the 100s, meaning that entertainment and sport have been stuck together?

However the "One button recording" demo features Sky Sports One on 301 as well. Methinks someone at Sky just entered any old number in. Laughing
