Wonder what the logo will look like. Hoping it'll be a different colour to differentiate from Sky One.

I'm thinking that'll be the case, but we'll have to wait and see. Maybe they'll link it to One, maybe they won't.

If it is just shows from Sky 1 repeated it wouldn't be of much interest, but if it was showing delayed screenings of some of the more popular programmes from all of the Sky entertainment channels and perhaps the odd movie or sports programme thrown in, that would make it a much more interesting prospect.

What's the point of keeping it called Sky One then if Sky Two is being renamed? Just call it Sky Channel or something.

Putting "One" after it reminds people that it's the flagship channel, presumably. Also, other names could end up being a bit ambiguous as "it's on Sky Channel" could mean it's on (a renamed) Sky One, or it could be on any of their other channels...

Yeah, the point is, because there's more than one Sky channel and it was the original. Sky Channel was renamed Sky One when Sky News and Sky Movies launched.

If SS Mix is moving back to the sports section as suggested on the DS forum, they could just rebrand Arena & Action to SS Mix 1/2/3? So could look like:
401 - Main Event
402 - Premier League
403 - Football
404 - Cricket
405 - Golf
406 - F1
407 - NFL
408 - Racing
409 - News
415 - Mix 1 (Action)
416 - Mix 2 (Arena)
419 - Mix 3 (Mix)
I mean, Arena & Action are a mix of sports anyways so it fits. Mix 1 and 2 would be part of the sports subscription, Mix 3 part of the basic package. I think it looks neater that way.

That would achieve nothing except to cause confusion... three 'Mix' channels and only one available on the basic package, glad that's not what Sky will be doing.

If anything only having the third channel would really be an OCD trigger and less neat than the current system.

Agreed, it would need to be Mix 1 on basic and 2 and 3 only on the Sports package.
