2 new channels, Pick HD and Pick Alternate, have been added to Digiguide, with listings from 19th June.
They currently have exactly the same schedule.
In Digiguide, Pick HD and Pick Alternate now have the football listed. The original Pick doesn't. The listings are from Friday morning so if Pick HD is to appear in the EPG, I would expect it then.
Would be nice if Digiguide added Sky Nature and Sky Documentaries as they are yet to do so.
It is slightly odd that Sky One+1 currently has FNF on the 19th, but Pick+1 doesn't.
Not if...
Pick (original) is the football-free version
Pick (alternate) is the football channel
Pick+1 is the timeshift of Pick (original)
Also stops RoI viewers watching the football on timeshift free-to-air, as there isn't a UK/RoI split on the timeshift.

True, true. I guess we'll see what happens!
Out of interest, Sky are doing studio coverage from Osterley for (seems like most, if not all of) the games next week as expected.
I’m struggling to see why they want to stop ROI viewers watching on Pick though, unless it’s to ensure viewing numbers on Sky One for advertising purposes.
If they are Sky customers, they will still be able to watch on Sky One; if they are not Sky customers and have a FTA set up, likely as not they have the U.K. version of Pick stored anyway. Literally the only people blocked from watching are ex-Sky customers watching on a Sky digibox, even they can tune in the U.K. version of Pick with manual tuning if they really want to watch.

There's likely to be a simple contractual reason for officially not doing so, effectively creating an unofficial grey area - in the same way Irish viewers can unofficially watch all of ITV's services and sports coverage via satellite or terrestrial overspill, but officially they are restricted, or they can manually tune in BBC RB1 via satellite although Red Button access from a BBC channel was removed on ROI Sky ahead of the 2016 Olympics...
I don't really understand why they've launched Pick HD on Sky if it's going to be on Sky1 anyway. They're also basically offering extra matches for free as a gesture of goodwill, so surely not unreasonable to say we'll let you watch for free in SD, but if you want HD you pay for Sky Sports.

Not really, Sky One have done EPL tasters before for those who have lower tier subs. For Now TV viewers, it enables them to watch the Pick TV matches in 720p or 1080p HD for the price of the Entertainment Pass and the HD boost if they want Full HD.
