... because it's green?

So green is more unique than any other colour that Sky have only used once like orange, yellow etc? Rolling Eyes

By the way, Sky Documentaries is now going to be red:

Sorry if that's not unique enough for you! Laughing

Sky Documentaries is still quite a mouthful, wish they'd shorten it to "Sky Docs"

Sky Documentaries being all red is a really nice touch.

Press pack is up with content info and a clear look at the new logos.

I like how they have also made a lighter version of the Sky History logo. Red for Sky Documentaries is good too, black was way too dull.

Looks like Sky History will be retaining most of the existing History branding by the look of the press pack. Seems like an impressive line-up overall.

I would've preferred something like Sky Knowledge myself...

I may be thinking of BBC Knowledge though.

Or maybe something more abstract like Sky Inform (in the same vein as Sky Witness)

I think those titles would suggest it has more of a educational angle when the content line up appears to be quite broad in subject matter - as they move to a wide genre based portfolio of channel brands, I think simplicity may be better for the factual channels to stand out - ‘Crime, Arts, Documentaries, Nature and History” - effective, does what it says on the tin and easier for curating on demand platforms.

Can't really see it eating that well - Sky Comedy is barely doing any better than Sky 2.

I do wish that these channels would drop the false history genre of the Ancient Aliens type. I really can't understand the need. I also find over dramatised history over factual boring. Narrated programming by presenters recruited as such also turns me off. Professional Educators really should present.

Also the text is a slight whitish-grey colour too.

I always get the impression that linear isn’t really the focus for Sky Comedy - it’s likely younger skewing and I could easily imagine most of the consumption of the comedy brand is done via box set viewing.
