These new logos have already appeared on the Virgin EPG. They're a nice update, but as mentioned earlier, the HD channel logos look a bit unbalanced now that the Sky logo is free of its box.

Looks like they've started updating the Sky Store logo too as it’s showing across the thumbnails on the Q box.

The Sky One “Up Next” towards the end of the show seems to have got a lot bigger. It was previously pretty small but now takes up alot of the bottom part of the screen.

Strange how Sports and Cinema haven’t been updated at the same time. Given they’re the ‘premium’ brands I wonder if they along with News are going in a different direction?

VM has also managed to mess up a little as they are not using the HD logo for Sky Comedy HD!

They'd be better off waiting until sport resumes to change Sky Sports presentation. The current crisis will make changing Sky News's look problematic right now too.

On the Sky Q guide, Sky One, Sky Comedy & Sky Crime are using the new look, whereas Sky Atlantic, Sky Witness & Sky Arts (not sure if that is even changing) are still using the boxed logos

Having just seen this, you're not wrong. Obtrusive is an understatement! The worst thing is the previous design was small, subtle (but still drew your attention), and didn't cover up a fifth of the screen with a dark blue background.

For the record, over the weekend Sky One Germany was also rebranded from "Sky 1" to "Sky One", with I think the first use of lower case letters by Sky Germany in its logos. The rebranded service will now include some children's programmes on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Why is One in English? You'd think it'd be the German translation, like Italy's Sky Uno.
