Off topic but how much love do Sky have to give to their new original film “Four Kids and It”, Getting countless advertising and is on a whopping 18 times in the next 7 days, Their is also an interview with Jacqueline Wilson on the film getting the same amount of repeats. It should be noted that it is the 8pm film on Sky Premiere for the next 2 days.
Obviously they are going to push it in the adverts, but in terms of repeats, that's hardly unusual. Spider-Man Far From Home debuts on Saturday and looks to be getting at least 14/15 showings in the first seven days. It's just how the Sky Cinema channels work these days.
The most recent trend seems to be to shove it on Premiere and then spread it around the other related channels. Four Kids and It has already spread to Adventure on 302, and if the schedules match, it finishes on Premiere and starts again on Adventure, it'll probably get dumped on Family as well at some point when that morphs back out of being Harry Potter.
When is sky one getting rid of those leaves and Domino's idents. BUT sky one has slightly changed their idents to fit the logo. I think
The dominoes ident has been changed on demand anyway. Now it just has the 'one' part of the logo falling over. Sky Atlantic has modified its previous idents too.
All the logos now use that slide out from under the Sky logo animation.
The Next IPP is larger than before, and now uses a full length rectangle reflecting the colour of the channel logo with transparency (along with a paint strokes style for Sky Arts) and the image zoomed in slightly and with the glass effect above it, but I quite like it.
The only part that I don't like is the ECP which now squashes the image into the top right to point where the height becomes longer than the length, and the promotional item taking up the rest of the space in the top half with any reference to On Demand duplicating the same promo video on all the devices.
Quick little mock-up of a potential new Sky Sports logo using the new style. I've changed the Sports part to blue as a change from the usual red which can get overused but the red is there for the Sky logo.
