New Sky channels: Crime, Comedy, Documentaries, Nature

Just found our logo for Sky Comedy on the Sky Media site.


A lot different from the normal style of Sky channel logos as this logo is more neon-sign inspired.

Definitely was expecting an orange colour for the channel, but the split littering was sort of a surprise. Also, it seems like the "Sky" logo is now splitting away from the box judging from how the logo is laid out.

Wonder if this is a style Sky channels will adopt once Comedy launches.


It's similar to Sky Studios' logo if you look at the resemblence.

Yep, that's the new style that will be appearing over the next few months for all channels.

I wonder how they'll be able to replace the current Sky One idents with the new design. Will the white boxed "Sky" logo be retained?

Nope, all channels are getting a refreshed logo in due course.

How do you know? Just asking for curiousity.

What would fall under the banner "action" when it comes to a general TV content? Is it just the long rumoured Sky Bravo - guess that's the type of content that would end up there.
