New Series of Red Dwarf In 2010

So it appears the success of Back to Earth this Easter has given the boys from the Dwarf a new lease of life! This years Dimension Jump convention has confirmation that 6 new scripts are currently being penned, ready for a late 2010 broadcast:

However, it looks like Dave haven't been overly happy about Doug and the gang stealing their thunder this early, and have semi squashed the reveal on their website:

There was also talk of there being possibly more than 6 scripts being requested [so we could get an 8 episode run eventually by sounds of it], and also discussions with the cast on wanting the audience back this time around. News will probably be added to the official website at midday today.

What are we making of this then? Glad the small rouge one is getting a proper second go of it, or did Back to Earth [baring in mind it was a special] make you feel it should have just been left floating in space?

I'm interested in seeing it TBH, I though BtE was alright & no way as bad as some made out, as long as it's just Rimmer, Lister, Cat & Kryten & they still have the Dwarf as well as Starbug then it should be just fine
