Looking at the logo used on the Applause Store website, it seems like Television Centre will be featured within the titles. Think Live & Kicking I guess.

Shocked

Given the apparent concerted effort in recent years to promote the image of NBH as Auntie Beeb's new "signature building" (via the likes of The One Show), I'm surprised that they would choose to brand any new programme nowadays with anything harking back to old TVC-centric imaging à la Children In Need etc (not even for programmes that will now be made at TVC).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that literally the only part of TVC that has anything whatsoever to do with the television industry now is the part that would be to the left of that logo (i.e. the part with the massive sheer brick wall)?

In which case the curved section used for that logo must now be offices/apartments/a hotel/a cinema (or whatever), and therefore sod all to do with the actual studio facility where this programme will be made?

Confused

Is this show going to be live or pre recorded, and if it's the former, I assume Greg James will be temporarily giving up the chart show

I liked how on the trailer they mentioned celebrity guest hosts over a Beyonce video. Yeah, right...

It's up against Coronation Street. That's evidence enough that it doesn't stand a chance and the BBC isn't taking it seriously. 2 million at most.

Being up against Corrie will affect the ratings but you could also argue that the BBC is trying to target a market that is unlikely to watch Corrie as well. The biggest problem for it will be that the main audience are beginning to move away from mainstream television - it will need a big social media and online presence to help it's momentum.
