Doesn't look like we'll be getting any news on the ratings today! This from Broadcast:

The overnights today have been delayed due to a power cut. They are now expected in tomorrow. Broadcast will put the information up on the website once the figures have arrived.

Maybe ITV have been at the BARB wires Laughing

I'm just....it baffles me. It really does. ITV1 could put a Heartbeat repeat on or even an old Marc Curry edition of Catchphrase would do. I can't understand their motive here.

(Sorry I keep on moaning about ITV, but, i'm bemused!)

Obviously this will be seen as pro-ITV but the way I see it is. You watch the new edition, a guest you don't like comes on, so you switch to the old one for a bit, then switch back later. The old one will still register some viewers

They are showing vintage drama from next week anyway, so there's only 4 more days left to slag off ITV (plus about 6 month's legacy when people keep bringing it back up again). I'll be interesting to see if Wycliffe gets more viewers than Old Paul O'Grady

Oh get over it Andrew. I work at ITV and if I can take a few people slagging off ITV (and agree with most of them) then I'm sure you can.

This is totally off topic, well kinda, but do you reckon five may have a pop at tea time - they are the only commerical anolouge network not to really have any form of chat show or entertainment show at that time.

I think that five are wise actually; they are providing an alternative for a different focus group. A film and news are sure to bank a few viewers who aren't into the big guns like Paul O'Grady, Neighbours and the Weakest Link - the channel would stand no chance if they were to jump on the bandwagon.

Lol, Cilla thinks they are on BBC1!

Cilla's been in the business about 100 years, hasn't she ever worked on a programme filmed at the 'wrong' studios before!

Heh, it's quite funny how confused paul & his guests are getting at the fact they're recording at the BBC but it's for channel 4.

Then again, channel 4 often have to outsource to get studio facilities - I know that Last Chance Lottery (Patrick Kieltys best, and first, series) was shot what is now ITV London (LWT). I guess the fallout from the contractual faux pas made C4 look to the BBC, who would be perhaps one of the few people who could provide a studio big enough outside of ITV - [afaik the biggest studio Five own is where Trisha is filmed - and as this is a daily show, it'd be hard to share].

My best guess is that they'll be using the same studio at TVC that a weekend show such as the lottery use?
