I think the point he was making when he emphasised LIVE was in response to itv showing old episodes

That raises a good point actually; will the Channel 4 show run live for the full 5 days, or will Paul still take the Thursday and Friday off?

Thursday and Friday are pre-recorded. Details Here

I doubt it will get as big ratings as it did on ITV.

No reason why it shouldn't - it'll get an inheritance of nearly 5million from Deal or No Deal, compared to probably less than 1million from CITV.

That doesnt mean all 5 million will stick around. Did R&J ever inherit from DOND?

Sorry, I forgot there was already a thread - didnt notice it.

Just let this thread gently pass away . . .

Personally, I think this thread is necessary; as the title of the other suggests, it has been dealing with the transition of Paul from ITV to Channel 4. Couldn't this space be dedicated to the new show itself?

Yay! Very Happy

So to ask my original query again, are ITV1 showing repeats at the same time as the new show on Channel 4? If they are, can I ask what they hope to gain from this? Confused

Yes at least for the time being and more viewers than a repeat of You've Been Framed I would presume
