the fact that it is just a straight copy of the ITV programme is a betrayal of the trust that ITV put into O'Grady's career when it was at a low point - bad egg really!

Lol, you either work for ITV or have no idea of the way they operate.

Not seen much about the ratings this week. I'm not so interesting how how Paul O'Grady is doing - but how ITV are doing with Wycliffe in the slot?

the new contract means that Paul O'Grady gets more creative input, which itv would not allow.

isn't that exactly the same reason richard and judy quit this morning

if so do itv not learn from their mistakes.

found this a bit strange, the competition prize on the show tonight was cash for home improvements

on granada reports their competition was also cash for home improvements

sponsored by the same company with an identical video

I didn't realise but Paul is hosting a show for Easter on BBC Radio 2 this afternoon. Apparently Buster is with him...

He's just been having a go at the rubbish Easter TV listings - notably The Borrowers!

Whoa, anyone catch some blue language by Sir Elton a few minutes ago? When discussing his original name "It sounded like a banker or w**ker or whatever you want.."

Indeed, He'll get into trouble for that, especially with all the little kids he has allover the show, and viewing at home.

Also, how hard can it be to sing 'Oh I do like to be beside the seaside' in time, they get it wrong everynight!

The swearing has been noted and 20 people complained to Channel 4 apparently.

What annoys me is that Sir Elton , as much as I enjoy his music, he thinks he's such a diva nowadays and can get away with anything he wants - even wearing dark sunglasses throughout the entire interview. I mean, ok, thats the way he is but there is no need to swear when surrounded by young kids on a family-orientated show.

Ooh start the car...I'm leaving.. Wink

Notice Andy Collins seems to have managed to get an occasional on screen role on the show lately.

Yeah, i noticed that too.

I presume that he's the warm up man for the audience and they just haven't had any body else in to do things.

I think paul likes to be inclusive, he mentions things like crew members birthdays etc, he certainly likes to have the children on, are they related to the crew or just borrowed from the local primary school
