Pauls probably got more viewers on channel four than he did on itv due to the fact that some utv viewers that want to can watch the show instead of having to watch utv live. I know i am!!! Laughing

But he does not have Wales.

What do you mean?

He does - S4C show it live (as they did with Richard and Judy) - and anyhow 80% of Wales now have digital TV, so can get C4.

I've asked this question here many time but never got a definate answer - are S4C's ratings incorporated into C4's?

Wonder how the More4 repeat the next Lunchtime does?

What annoys me about these is they don't have a consistant start time as each day they are adjusted according to the length of the afternoon film - so one day can start at 11.45am and the next day an hour later!

Yes he does!
Analogue viewers in Wales watch him on S4C at 17.00
Digital viewers in Wales can watch him on Channel Four

Sorry i thought that S4C had stopped showing Channel 4 programmes, i know they are planning to.

Put The Telly On
One of the most stupidest and laziest decisions ever in terrestrial TV to put repeats of Paul O'Grady on ITV against the new Channel 4 show.

I was thinking earlier....probably wouldn't be such a bad thing if Greg Dyke got back into the ITV game again.

(i've got to stop moaning about ITV.... Confused Rolling Eyes )

Sharron Osbourne will be recording a pilot titled "Mrs Osbourne Presents..." on the 18th of April.

The spectacular Sharon Osbourne hosts her fantastic new entertainment show with a mix of top celebrity guests, heart warming human interest stories, audience participation and fab live music!

This very special evening will be sassy, up-beat and Minnie her dog will even be learning how to dance!

Presumably this is for the 5pm slot

Is it just me who *sighs* at the state of commercial broadcasting when I read that Sharon Osbourne will be accompanied by her dog?

Do we really need two networks doing everything they can to copy each other in an attempt to split an audience?

Thank god for the Beeb.

To be honest, I'm suprised ITV didn't put repeats of This Morning up against Richard & Judy when they first moved to Channel 4...

But back then, ITV was still a relatively OK broadcaster. Now it's just simply terrible.

Compare primetime schedules from 1985 to 2005

To summarise 1985- the content is:

Quiz
Soap
Comedy
Current affairs documentary
Drama
News
Drama

In 2005, ITV has been reduced to:

Soap
Soap
Documentary (they're lucky this features- it's their only one of the week)
Soap
Drama
News
Sleazy paporazzi show
Film documentary

Within 20 years, ITV has gone from a respectable family network, to a simply awful excuse for British television- the gutter of broadcasting.

In another shock defection paul 'grady is to move from his new home on channel 4 to a new slot on five. He confirmed this to his viewers today as told his viewers to watch tomorrow's show at 4pm on five!

Only joking! (he did actually say this though!)

Oh we get all variations of this. It was "at five on four o'clock" the other day.

Well I believe that C4 and S4C have always been combined when published, with figures for S4C only also available.

Mind you even S4C have stopped publishing these since this year -- viewing figures have halved in the last five years to about 50 000 at very best for English language programming [<2% of the UK combined figures].

Test Cricket figures for S4C always do well, but are never even near a 5% level compared to C4/S4C.
