I guess it depends on who owns the rights to the music as to whether they can use it, though I do prefer the old tune for the guess the tune / the organ game.
Heh, it's quite funny how confused paul & his guests are getting at the fact they're recording at the BBC but it's for channel 4.
Then again, channel 4 often have to outsource to get studio facilities - I know that Last Chance Lottery (Patrick Kieltys best, and first, series) was shot what is now ITV London (LWT). I guess the fallout from the contractual faux pas made C4 look to the BBC, who would be perhaps one of the few people who could provide a studio big enough outside of ITV - [afaik the biggest studio Five own is where Trisha is filmed]
You make it sound like the only studios in London are those owned by the terristrial broadcasters! Channel 4 programmes are almost always outsourced, not least because the production of them is outsourced to independent companies. As for Five, they don't own any TV studios (unless you include the Milkshake booth), the Trish studio is leased from the Teddington Studios.
I thought ITV had banned their soapstars from the C4 show? I say this as I am sure that Paul aid that someone from Emmerdale would be featuring soon.
