ITV1: S.H.I.T.
Nice abbreviation.
Considering that the majority of viewers in the Grampian broadcast area are not in the Highlands and Islands, its not really the best name for it.
The current name, Grampian, sums up what it really cares about - Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Tough luck if you live in Tayside.
ITV Northern Scotland is a better description of what it should be.
Same applies to Border, it really only covers Cumbria and the Isle of Man, if you live anywhere else then you're doomed.
